DESCRIPTION:Unlike crowned or heavily adorned statues, traditional Laotian wooden Buddhas celebrate a stripped-back, monastic aesthetic.

The focus is entirely on the form. The use of weathered wood gives it an organic, earthy texture that connects the viewer directly to nature and the concept of impermanence (Anicca). It evokes a feeling of purity, humility, and absolute calm.
