DESCRIPTION: The Buddha sitting with one leg folded over the other, with both hands in his lap and sheltered by a large serpent ahose five or seven-headed crest is raised above his head and shoulders.The coils of serpent's body are treated as a platform on which the buddha is portrayed as deeply medititating.
